Pumpkin bundt cake. Used the Pie in the Sky cookbook, which has all the altitude adjustments you could ever need, and it definitely made a difference. Also it’s way too much food for one person.

I just baked banana bread tonight. No photos.

I used raisins to make my mom happy, but I’d vastly prefer chocolate or blueberries. Next time she’ll have to live with my choice.

Pretty damn good. Turns out using a specific recipe instead of box mixes makes a better final  product

Yeah sort of lay down batter on a sheet pan or do a smaller in a round and then line up the fruit. My grandmother did the plums but also her home canned apple slices! Good in the morning with coffee, or at night with whipped cream!

Ok you officially inspired me. 4/6 nectarines salvageable plus one plum. Macerating the salvage with sugar and lemon juice. . Thankfully my fridge is almost a freezer. No vanilla extract but an old dty bean has been pulverized and soaks in a tsp of wild turkey. No cinnamon but will use a smidge of allspice. Will post a pic or reply a pic to this link in a couple hours
